Review: Casio DW-290 "Mission Impossible" watch

I thought the watch, when i first saw it, kinda ugly. But, I'm also curious about it, so i decided to grab one. Now i've worn it non-stop for more than a week, i couldn't take it off. I'm really in love with this watch, and i think this watch feels better on the wrist than both of my G-shock DW-5600.
βž• the shape, some people really dislike the shape. But after wearing it for a while and pressing all the buttons, now i understand. The shape make it easy and comfy to press all the buttons. This is what i dislike from the square G-shock, bc the buttons are hard to press. The shape actually looks badass too! The screen also more legible than the DW-5600, and the writings, line and graphics on the dial looks like classic G-shock DW-5000, which i love. 200m water resistance is a huge plus, I'm not a diver but i feel safe with a high rated water resistance watches. The articulating lugs is also a huge plus, the watch fits well for me. Well, i have 7.5" wrist, so no problem there, but my cousin who got 6" wrist tried to weat it with no problem. It's big, but it's great for smaller wrist! And the other positive is... It looks tough, it feels tough, and it's definitely tough.
βž– the strap, idk about the strap, i don't think it's as durable as G-shock but it works for me, i just feel it's less durable. The plastic buckle is also a negative, but hey it's a Casio, still serviceable. The case construction, it's not like G-shock, I can't replace the case (or bezel) with a new one if it got really aged or broken

Wearing my JDM G-Shock GD-X6900 the chunkier DW-6900. I somewhat prefer this over the DW-6900 maybe because i have big size wrist, so this one fits me better.
Also this was a gift from my mom back when she visited Japan. So this is quite a sentimental piece.
And recently, i use the stopwatch features on Casios and the timing bezels on diver watches more often.

So... A while ago, my grandpa gave me this beautiful "Numa Jeannin" compass-watch. It looks stunning but i don't know much about this watch. I browse the brand on the internet and it seems like they made good watches, but not much informatiom there. If any of you here know anything about this watch brand, you can tell in the comments, thanks a lot! #watchcollector #watch #WristShot #WatchPhotography #horology

A Week on the Wrist: Hamilton Khaki King Automatic.
Got my hands and spend some time with the Hamilton Khaki King. This is actually one of my dream watches and I'm glad i got a chance to wear it. The 40mm is pretty much perfect for my 7.5" wrist. The dial size is ideal making the watch looks smaller. The proportions are great, and i really like the Day placement. The only real complain (for me) is the date window, the placing, I'm not really a big fan. I prefer Rolex's Day-Date layout.
Overall this is a great watch, it could be used as a field watch (a blingy one haha) but also could work as a more formal/dressy watch bc it's quite slim.
The owner wear it with a leather strap, a really good one as well! The bracelet looks good tho...

Watch belongs to my cousin @jeftaem

Finally added a Master of G to my G-shock collection. I was conflicted between choosing the Mudmaster or the Gravitymaster, bc they're basically the same watch. But i feel like the Gravitymaster model connect to me more and i love the model since it released. It's been 2 days on my wrist and it's easily the (2nd) best G-shock i've had after the 35th anniversary DW-5035. The obvious thing is, this watch is... BIG! The biggest in my collection but fits my wrist like a glove. #WristShot #watches #watchcollector #photography #WatchPhotography #GShock
