#BBNaija: “My family is pressuring me to get married” – Saskay

Saskay made this known during a discussion with fellow housemates, Queen and Nini where they spoke about marriage and family.
Nini noted that she loves babies but would love to make everything right before she starts having her own babies. She also added that she doesn’t intend to marry on time.

Saskay then chipped in revealing her family has been on her neck to settle down with her man. “Dem don dey beg me for my house”, she said.
Queen in response stated that Saskay is just 21 and wondered why her family would pressure her to get marry at a young age.

“But you’re just 21 Saskay how are they begging you to get married?” Queen queried.

Saskay replied, “I’m 21 yh but I don’t know how to explain”.

JUST IN: Industrial Court orders resident doctors to call off strike

The National President, National Association of Resident Doctors, Dr Uyilawa Okhuaihesuyi and the Minister of Labour and Employment, Dr Chris Ngige

The National Industrial Court sitting in Abuja has ordered that the Nigerian Association of Resident Doctors are restrained from continuing with the ongoing strike pending the determination of the substantive suit before it.

The court, therefore, ordered members of the association nationwide to return to work.

The court held that there is no amount of money that will compensate for the loss of lives in the circumstances.

Justice Bashar Alkali made the order on Friday while ruling on an application by the Federal Government in the suit against NARD.

The Federal Government’s lawyer, Tochukwu Maduka (SAN), had moved his motion for interlocutory injunction, and prayed the court for an order of interlocutory injunction restraining the defendant from continuing with the industrial action pending the hearing and determination of the substantive suit.

He also prayed the court to compel the members of NARD nationwide to return to their duty posts pending the determination of the substantive suit.

He argued that resident doctors as persons who provide essential services cannot embark on strike and continuing to do so will wreck hardship on citizens.

The resident doctor’s lawyer, Robinson Ariyo, vehemently opposed the application for interlocutory injunction and urged the court to discountenance their application.

He argued that the life of a medical doctor is not less useful than the life an average human being.

He argued that justice must be balanced, not just to the government, but also to the doctors who are the field marshals in the face of the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic.
