Festive season of Ganpati brings me so much more closer to my family. It is the perfect occasion for us to bond, feast, celebrate and make happy memories to be cherished forever. We have a great time welcoming Bappa, decorating our homes and lighting it up, preparing delicacies and modaks for Bappa, making colorful & vibrant floral rangolis. The divine atmosphere definitely transforms and brightens up my home with elegance sprinkled all over making it more pleasant. Ganpati bappa truly fills my home with heart & soul and spreads auspicious feel bringing positive energy. The Happiness & Smiles on the faces of my dear ones are the special & memorable moments that create the right essence during Ganpati and every year I look forward to spend these happy moments with them. Also I love preparing Naivedyam of different Modaks for my Bappa. My mother is a staunch believer of making ukdiche modak by herself for my family as well as for distributing to relatives & friends. I still remember, when I was young I used to help my mother to make modaks, stuffing them with mixture of coconut, jaggery, raisins and nuts. I would help her out because I knew that I would get to eat one of them every day till Ganesh Chaturthi ended. She would make large quantities of modaks, we would then exchange them with neighbours and relatives. Although we were often told not to overeat, my sister and I would steal some without my mother knowing about it. The whole house smelling of ghee laden ukdiche modaks is something that I’ll never forget. After offering the modaks to Bappa we have a great time relishing together with my family. Moments right from making the Modaks to sharing them with my loved ones is what I love the most about this festival. #ganeshaekkhusiyaananek

We present to you our most beautiful handmade idol of Ganu Bappa â¤ï¸ğŸ™ğŸŒºğŸŽ‰ğŸª” Creating the creator gives us immense joy… Nothing beats the satisfaction of creating our own eco-friendly idol😊🤩. This year me and my sis @rujulicious have welcomed bappa in an eco friendly way🙏🌿💮🪔. We have made an eco friendly Ganu Bappa idol from multicolored quilling strips🔖🏷️.The paper quilled Ganu Bappa is not only ecofriendly but also economical as well, all it needed was a little bit of effort, but the pleasure we got from this work was priceless.🤗 We have followed simple principles of reduce, reuse and recycle ♻️ and we have tried to create a festive ambienceğŸŽ‰ğŸŽ‡ in a green way. We have created a small vertical garden ğŸŽğŸŒ¿on a wall and used it as a backdrop bordered using marigold flowers made with recycled paper.🌻🏵️ The decoration is made out of biodegradable items like paper flowers🌼, leaves☘️, garlands🌺 which will then be used for preparing compost by mixing with the soil which will help to fertilize the plants🌱 in my balcony garden. Will perform a symbolic immersion💦 by sprinkling water on Ganesh idol🐘 and place it in the Puja Ghar instead of immersing it in water bodies and creating harm to the environment. We also plan to use the same idol next year. 🙏Celebrating Ganesh Chaturthi is not about how big your idol is or how expensive your decoration is.💵 It is not about display of wealth or showing off. Rather, it is about the religious sentiments, emotions and feelings in one’s heart🙏. One should celebrate and enjoy the festival without causing damage to the environment. 🌱The nature of our future depends on the future of our nature.🍃 So let us all respect the nature and pledge to celebrate Ganesh Chaturthi in an eco-friendly manner. 🙏🙏 "Ek Do Teen Chaar..Eco-Friendly Rakhenge Ganpati Ka Tyohar"🌺🌺🌺 #FestivalWithMyFestive #rechokha
